Don’t call it a revenge game.

The Beavers just want to take a win over Stanford on Thursday.

They do, however, have some not-so fond memories of the 103-101 loss in four overtimes to the Cardinal in Gill Coliseum on Jan. 7.

Jared Cunningham said the Beavers are looking forward to getting another shot at the Cardinal.

“They slipped away with a win on our home court,” Cunningham said. “Four overtimes, that was a lot and we showed the fight we have within ourselves.
“We’ve just got to go into their house and play with effort and play with a lot of heart.”

Cunningham said the Beavers didn’t make the plays late in the first meeting.

“Some of the plays down the stretch didn’t go our way and we’ve got to make them go our way,” he said. “We’ve got to get those 50-50 balls and just play hard every possession.”

Stanford has had its share of struggles lately, going 2-5 in its last seven games.
